What are Development Application (DA) Consents?
A Development Application (DA) Consent provides a formal approval to undertake a development.
- The consent will have a list of conditions and will also reference the approved plans. In order for the development to be lawful, it must be undertaken in a manner which is consistent with the consent.
Where do I get a Development Consent?
- Assuming you already have a Development Consent and you do not have a copy of it, you can get your DA Consent from your Local Council.
- If you haven't got a Development Consent and you need one, you should speak to a Town Planner to assist you in preparing an application to Council.
