What is an 88B Instrument?

88B Instrument is a document which appends to a Deposited Plan to create easements and restrictions on title. If you do not require the creation of any easements or restrictions then you do not need an 88B Instrument.

Do I need an 88B?

Your surveyor will prepare and 88B if you require one. If you do have an 88B, please make sure you send it through to us with the other documentation for Subdivision Certificate release as it needs to be endorsed.

You will know if you have an 88B, as it will be listed on your administration sheet.
