Navigate to the NSW Planning Portal website.
Once on the website, select "My Account" and log in. (Note: If you do not have an account yet, please create an account.)
Click on the "New" button positioned at the upper left corner of the page adjacent to the NSW Planning Portal logo.
Upon clicking the icon, a drop-down list will appear. From the list, choose "Complying Development Certificate (New CDC, Mod)".
After selecting the Complying Development Certificate option, the application form will appear on the screen. Fill out the require fields (first fiven name, family name, email, and address).
For the question, "Are you applying on behalf of a business or company?" select "No".
In this part of the application, the answer will depend if the applicant is the owner of the development address, or there are multiple owners.
For the question on who will be doing the building work, select "Not determined at this time".
Skip the Builder or Principal contractor details.
For Site Access, select "No".
For Payer Details, select "Individual" option then put in the applicant's details on the fields.
Leave blank the Developer Details.
Click "Save and Continue".
Select "Complying Development Certificate Application" in the application type.
Input the Development Site address.
Tick the boxes confirming the lot and plan number, and primary address.
Select "Subdivision".
Select the type of subdivision proposed if it is"Torrens"or "Strata".
Enter the number of existing lots and proposed lots.
In the description of the development field, just type in "subdivision of land".
Select "No"for this question. Then click "Save and continue".
From the drop-down list, select "Name".
Enter "Brear"on the search bar then click "Search".
Select "BREAR PTY LTD".
Select "Yes"to confirm that the principal certifier is the same as registered certifier. Then click "Save and continue".
Nothing to upload. Click "Save and continue".
Skip the first question and proceed in the "Proposed".
Under Category, select "Subdivision".
Select which Development the job falls into. Determine whether it is Residential Strata or Torrens.
Click "Complete Selection".
Enter "0"in the total column.
Select "No" for add existing development. Then click "Submit".
Review all the information about the application on the next page.
Before submitting the application, you should tick the "Select All" box under Applicant declaration section. Then click "Submit CDC Application".
